Here's the Free Aiki Dojo and Golden Bears Aikido training schedule for this week of 12/16/13.  We will have our final class of 2013 on Friday, December 20th. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 7th.

Mon 12pm-1pm on campus
will feature weapons training on Faculty Glade. Bring bokken and jo if you have them. We have extras if you don't.

Tuesday at 1514 University Ave
Free Aiki Dojo classes are from 6:30-8:30pm at our host dojo, Aikido of Berkeley, at 1514 University Ave.
From 6-6:30 you are welcome to an informal warm-up and Q&A session.
6:30-7:30 is a basics class w Brandon Sensei, and 7:30-8:30 is a general class with Kayla Sensei.
This is an excellent evening to get to know a large cross-section of people in our training community.

Wednesday at 1514 University Ave
7am -8am is at 1514 University Ave. We are working on the next set of tests.

Thursday on campus
10:00 - 11:00 PM The Late Night Thursday class is in Hearst Gym #234.

Training since 1980, Claire has been a student at New York Aikikai since the mid-1980s and began teaching a regular class in 1987. Her goal as a teacher is to help students grasp the basics and find their own joy in aikido.

We will gather as a community to close our training year with a party (as soon as possible after Claire Sensei's class concludes) at Martin Taber's house 1427 Walnut in Berkeley.

We continue to produce spiffy TShirts in an unconventional way. Please bring $10 if you can (to keep the process going) along with the TShirt shirt of choice (the newer the better). Hisa-san will screen print the logo of your choice on it and return it to you.

We are a training community which includes Cal students and residents of the larger Bay Area with little or no connection to UC, so our classes continue whether Cal is in session or not, and often on holidays as well.
