Archetypal Psychology+Image

"Archetypal Psychology" refers to a community and a process with the following characteristics:

  • Familiar with the work of several figures, including at least CG Jung, James Hillman, and Henry Corbin, but also many others (see below).
  • Struggling with and moved by the concept of "psyche" or "soul".
  • Troubled by the "places" in history and contemporary life which seem dominated by literalism and simplistic ideologies in a way that makes being human less humane.

This online resource is provided by Culturesmith.com and supported by the non-profit Association Building Community, with the hope that those working near the archetypal roots of psychology will find and make here what they need to sustain themselves in service of "soul".
