Free Aiki Dojo and Golden Bears Aikido training schedule for the week of April 28th

We have a lot to be thankful for as we end the semester this coming month. As many of you know, I direct a non-profit, Association Building Community (ABC), which is our partner in helping to fund and grow our classes, offer internships, and things of that sort. When I wrap my Martial Nonviolence (MNv) methodology into a curriculum it is called Peace Practices (PxPx) and ABC houses that work.

The Peace Practices project has been notified that it will receive funding in May from a private, international family fund, and expects to launch on two Montessori school campuses. The site in San Mateo is probably too far away to interest you, unless you have the time to drive down with me on Mondays or Wednesdays. The other, in Emeryville, will probably have classes to which you are invited on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. This will be a nearly full time commitment for me and will be local this next year, national the year following, and international thereafter. I will be hiring assistant instructors and offering internships, launching a study to go along with the project, and hope you will be involved, participate in the training, and build your resume with both a certification and our letter of recommendation.

This also means that our training schedule will change, perhaps more than once in 2014. IN MAY Monday class on campus will probably shift to 11:30 (ending at 12:30 instead of 1) and THIS Friday afternoon is cancelled. A sempai may take over Friday afternoons. I may reach out to a department at Cal to create a 7am class on Friday morning on campus, but that is not a done deal yet. Any feedback would be appreciated. Please let me know how this will fit or not fit with your schedule.
PLEASE be sure to email me with your schedule for
1) where you will be after classes end, and the date you finish classes.
2) next semester. Please share your Google Calendar with so we can coordinate and plan together.
