The "social justice" idea constitutes a mythology, an interlocking series of related narratives which, in this case, privilege the dignity of the individual in the context of humane best practices which continually shape societies that work well for all participants. In order to do this, themes are developed as rubrics, ways of interacting which draw attention to structural dilemmas and specific harms visited on various sub-groups of privileged and served and underprivileged and underserved persons. The goal is to continually correct for  inhumane treatment by taking personal and systemic responsibility for privilege and then acting to reform systems so that universally humane treatment becomes more and more likely.
