As do other Archetypal images, "somatic" refers to a complex, a nexus of experience, narratives, meaning, and behavior oriented around a principle shared by the vast majority of human beings. "Soma" makes "Body" central to this understanding, a lens through which to color, include, organize other ideas associated with human embodiment like mind, spirit, soul, physique, and endless more.
