For a week I have been bombarded with scripture, devotionals, readings ( Up Rm. for Wed. 25, for the children Sat. the 28th ; Barbara Brown Taylor sermon Family Values; Richaard Rohr this morning) that have convinced that the narrative that is dominate is Hebrew, not Gk. Your and Lisa's journey is not financial or social triumph, return of the hero -- but the opposite or rather different level.  ... spiritual convolution.  THE ROAD TO EMMAUS. The disciples -- having been on an emotional roller coaster were disappointed, confused, with no ministry or guiding hand, stretched beyond reason, uprooted --- so low they were ready for Transformation/ open to a whole new birth of worldview -- God's Presence. Luke 18:14  -- "For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted." Take whatever position is offered to you that shines with God's presence -- who knows to what it will lead ?   You are loved,  mom
