In the user menu of every new account, the following words appear:

This is your own custom menu. Upon signing in, each user sees their own in their sidebar. You may edit it to have whatever you like at your fingertips, and only you will see it automatically. Often, people add links here to cards that interest them, as they may anywhere on this site. They do so by typing the names of the card and then putting [[double brackets]] around it. You could also embed/include cards so they appear, either open or closed, in their entirety by using surrounding the card name with double gullwings \{{}}. Included cards may be one of many different types used for all manner of design tasks, including displaying images or embedding HTML code for other sites, Twitter feeds, etc. You could also simply paste in your favorite quote in this area and leave it at that :-)

Just double-click any text to edit it. If you can't edit, you are not signed in or do not have permission in this particular case.

 

If you would like to update your password, please follow these steps:

1. Click on My Card: (Your Name) at the top right.
2. Mouse near the Edit link to reveal the hidden menu in order to click on Options.
3. Enter your preferred password twice in the obvious places and Save.

Please remember that using this site constitutes an agreement to hold its original contents as confidential &/or proprietary. This is doubly true for those with special status/roles, such as "Administrator", "CB" (Community Building), and "Practice" (students of work developed here). These and other status ratings give access to original material which I trust you to help me keep private. If you cannot keep this agreement in good conscience, please let me know right away so we can discuss the issue. This language is meant to open conversations with participants so that they will err on the side of 1) not making private page content public, 2) referring people to a public page here rather than copying and pasting the idea elsewhere as their own contribution, and 3) generally observe a standard of care that begins with the consideration that I need to continue making my living with ideas formulated here. At base, it begins a conversation so that the actual complexity of navigating these issues has a chance to deepen enough that it can truly function beyond normative rule-making.
