Mytho-psychology is the therapy of culture called for by James Hillman, and many others, that extends the ideas of depth psychologies beyond the cloisters of psychotherapy and academia into public life. Cultural mythology and archetypal psychology arise as languages -- each expressing the other's subtleties and illuminating the profound consequences of aesthetics and narrative as they relate to ethics and community-building in a mechanically anaesthetized world.
